De Wolfe joined Gavin Griffin as the only “Triple Crown” winners, when he won his first gold bracelet at the 27th event of this year’s WSOP.

Event 27 of WSOP 2009 was a pot limit Omaha game and de Wolfe had to beat some serious competitors on his way to the title. With a huge chip lead going into the final heads-up play against Brett Richey, he managed to hold his nerve and take home the $246,000 winner’s prize.
